Khenpo Lodro Dönyo was the primary disciple of the late Bokar Rinpoche— he is the primary connection to the roots of the Karma Kagyu lineage of practice, and is the abbot of Mirik Monastery, near Darjeeling.
After the death of V. Ven. Bokar Rinpoche, Khenpo Rinpoche has continued the tradition of Karma and Shangpa Kagyu teachings, as well as the continuation of the Mahamudra and Yidam seminars, which are held annually— both in India, United States, and other centers around the world.
